Beautiful moated and fortified manor house near Banbury in North Oxfordshire, just over one hours’ drive from West London. The core of the house was built in 1306 of the rich local Hornton ironstone it has a range of styles: mediaeval, Tudor , Elizabethan, Gothic. The gatehouse was constructed in the early fifteenth century.
