LOC2406: Monks Wood NNR an ancient woodland in Cambridgeshire

Monks Wood Natural Nature Reserve is one of the largest ancient woodlands in Cambridgeshire, with a recorded history that stretches back for over 900 years. The woodland of oak, ash and field maple trees has an understorey of hazel, blackthorn, dogwood and sallow. A good place for bluebells in Spring and fungi in Autumn. (Nr Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire)
