There are three reservoirs to the south of the main road, one of which has cement surround and is raised so on a clear day you can see many London landmarks and there is also a Victorian folly-like building at the edge of the water that looks like its on top of a hill.The reservoir has a deep centre but sloping banks for easy access to the water.
